Well, that escalated if not quickly then at least in an unexpected direction! Personally, I felt the drama was a bit too drawn out, though. (YMMV.)
One of my favorite things about the story was the banter between Ava and Carter; I really enjoyed meeting their group of friends and I would like to read more books in the series.
Another excellent adventure!
While book #2 had a more Indiana-Jones-adventure-y feel, Cursed Saint Caper gave me more of a "Leverage" vibe - which I found equally entertaining as the previous books.
Seeing Ruby and Raj go undercover - to help out the convent where Ruby and Alex grew up and find their missing aya - was a lot of fun, and the story kept me up way past my bedtime.
I loved seeing the crew grow even closer yet over the course of this new adventure, and I appreciate how they are truly becoming this tight-knit (found) family I can't help but root for. I especially enjoyed getting to know Ruby better, her POV chapters offered some insights I had not expected.
And as much as I like Las and Raj, I hope we get to spend some extra time with the other crew members in the future, too. :) …

This series has me hooked for sure, and I can't (don't want to) wait for the next book!
Even though Selah and I may not have too much in common (I'm neither tall and willowy nor a gifted dancer born with a silver spoon in her mouth), I found her to be very relatable. And Dante? Le Swoon Really, he is just such a good guy and he deserves ALL the best. I loved seeing how he and Selah grew closer with time and brought out the best in each other.
It was great to see more of the other Misfits too and how they started to take Selah under their wings and tried to keep her safe from potential (and likely) retribution by the Asshats in general and Ronan in particular.
I also enjoyed the little crossovers with the Haven Hallways series.
Like the first book in the series, this YA romance touched on some serious subjects, but it still had plenty of fun and lighthearted - …

Welcome to the jungle! This fun new adventure takes the Nanshe crew onto a fast-paced treasure hunt with a strong Indiana Jones-y vibe (mysterious clues! dastardly rivals! double crosses and betrayal!).
I also enjoyed learning more about both Lasadi's and Raj's respective back stories, the consequences of which keep spilling over into their current lives. And even though their pasts are not making it easier for this new-found crew to trust each other, they manage to work together (well, sort of, mostly, anyway...) and form stronger bonds during this new quest.
I love how this crew tackles all the challenges that are thrown their way, and I hope we will get to follow Lasadi, Raj, Jay, Ruby, and Alex along on many, many more adventures!

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young Italian star-crossed lovers …
Sweet, funny, and heartwarming <3
Both April and Angus made it so very easy for me to root for them. They were just so dang cute - and occasionally awkward ;) - together, and I loved seeing them grow closer over the course of their fake relationship that slowly but surely developed into the real thing.
These two made me smile and swoon, but it was Angus's daughter Elsie who stole my heart from the moment she first appeared on the page.
More, please?
First of all: I loved every single book in the Bad Boy Bakers series, and Rebecca was just such a lovely and wonderful presence throughout who not only supported but kind of adopted all of Jonah's fellow bakers and their families. I'm happy that she now got her own HEA too.
While Grey has been mentioned before, we never got the whole story - until now. I am a sucker for a good second-chance romance, and this one packs quite an emotional punch. For me, it was the perfect finale for this wonderful series.
You had me at "vintage 'Vette". :) Though, to be fair, this story drew me in right from the start, and it was easy to root for both Addie and Michael. But frankly it was 12-yo Dan who stole my heart from the moment he appeared on the page (no, not only because he's a kindred 'Vette fan).
I loved the combination of relatable characters struggling with real-life problems interwoven with the over-the-top family feud and haunted-house shenanigans. Bonus points for the super-groanworthy Dad jokes!
