Oh, my heart!

Aaaaaaaah! Malcom and Charlotte are absolutely perfect opposites, and absolutely perfect together, and I loved their story so much. <3 Both come with some hefty baggage, but they are also competent at figuring stuff out and making it work - and Charlotte turns out to be a pro grump-wrangler, too. (Let’s be honest here, Malcom never stood a chance…)

I really loved this tale of opposites attract and found family, and I can’t wait to read more in the series!

Great start to a new series!

Disclaimer: Enemies-to-lovers is not my favorite trope, and I’m not a big fan of prank wars, either. That being said, this story had all the trademark humor, heart, and heat I’ve come to expect from Sylvie Stewart, and she didn’t disappoint. She made it really easy for me to fall in love with the whole Brooks clan (and Hollis, of course ;) ), and I can’t wait to read more books in the series!

4.5 / 5 stars

Jessie Kwak: Double Edged (Paperback, Jessie Kwak Creative)

None

Great start to the series! Jessie Kwak has a knack for creating three-dimensional, complex characters I can't help but root for (hello, Jaantzen!), even if they are operating in decidedly grey areas. I enjoyed the fast-paced action and the twists and turns that kept me on my toes until the end. Definitely looking forward to reading more in this series!

Kait Nolan has a knack for writing charming small-town romance, and it translates well from the American South to Scotland.
I really loved how Raleigh and Kyla's relationship gradually changed from being a pure business arrangement to mutual respect and appreciation for each other's strengths, to a friendship, and then more.
It was easy for me to fall in like (and love) with this new-to-me tight-knit Scottish community, and I can't wait to read more books in this series!

reviewed Network Effect by Martha Wells (The Murderbot Diaries, #5)

Martha Wells: Network Effect (Hardcover, 2020, Tor)

None

This is probably my favorite Murderbot adventure yet - and that's saying something! I loved reconnecting (ha!) with old friends and getting to know new ones, and I appreciated getting a glimpse into a couple of different POVs as well.

More, please?
