Great introduction to the world of the Vigilaunties (and Cookie)! It's a good thing I already have book #1 on my e-reader. :)

A cozy mystery with a cast of quirky characters and oodles of found family? Yes, please!

This book was written for me!

Isadora is such a relatable nerdy mess, and her story is giving me all the feels! It made me smile, the romance made me swoon, there were some laugh-out-loud moments, and it tugged on the heartstrings big time. Overall, while some aspects might have hit a little close to home, I loved the strong theme of making connections and I adored this particular found family Isadora managed to pick up along her way.

Fun and engaging story by a new-to-me author. I have the next book in the series already ready to go on my e-reader, so there... :)

More Wishful AND more Eden’s Ridge? Yes, please!

I’m a sucker for a good second-chance romance, and this novella feels like a comforting, warm hug with its small-town vibes and strong sense of (found) family, love, and forgiveness (it is a second-chance story, after all). And while I didn’t get quite as emotionally attached as I might have to some of Kait’s other characters, I truly enjoyed getting to know Declan and Livia - and, last but not least, Scarlett.

It’s always a treat for me to visit Eden’s Ridge or Wishful, and I really enjoyed this crossover with many old acquaintances from both worlds making an appearance (as always, Ari FTW!). Though I suppose it can be a bit overwhelming if one hasn’t read (m)any of the other books before.

Lola FTW!

Disclaimer: I'm usually not a big fan of anything fae. BUT! Lola! She is such a wonderful new protagonist, and she made it so easy to root for her. I loved getting to know her and her slice of the DFZ world and her group of friends and possible allies.

If "By a Silver Thread" is anything to go by (and, knowing Rachel Aaron's books, I'm pretty sure it is!), this series is going to be an excellent addition to the DFZ story universe, and I can't wait for the next book!

(And while it's not mandatory to have read any of the previous DFZ series, there are plenty of little nods to the other books as an extra little bonus for the long-time readers.)

Kait Nolan has a knack for writing charming small-town romance, and it translates well from the American South to Scotland.
I really loved how Raleigh and Kyla's relationship gradually changed from being a pure business arrangement to mutual respect and appreciation for each other's strengths, to a friendship, and then more.
It was easy for me to fall in like (and love) with this new-to-me tight-knit Scottish community, and I can't wait to read more books in this series!

This is probably my favorite Murderbot adventure yet - and that's saying something! I loved reconnecting (ha!) with old friends and getting to know new ones, and I appreciated getting a glimpse into a couple of different POVs as well.

More, please?

It took me a while to warm up to both MCs, and both Sophie and Andrew had some growing up to do over the course of this story, but once the penny dropped for them and they had some a-ha moments, I was rooting for them both.

Reading for a good cause? Count me in!

While I haven't read all the stories yet, I thoroughly enjoyed the humor and heart (no pun intended!) in Sylvie Stewart's meet cute "Playing by Heart," and I'm very much looking forward to reading more stories in the collection - a great opportunity to discover new-to-me authors.
