This was an interesting read, because there was a lot of overlap with book #3. Seeing the same events from different perspectives was neat. :)

Too much drama and tragic backstories are usually not my thing, so I was a bit skeptical how all the heavy stuff in Mike and Clarke's history would be dealt with. Yes, it was at times painful and heart-wrenching, but there were also enough funny moments and the "awwww"-factor was there, so I didn't mind - and it made for a beautiful story.

NB: Extra kudos for Mike and Clarke being aware of their respective issues, and not only accepting but actively seeking professional help... somehow that made them even more human and more "real" for me. Thank you for that.
