I think this was a weaker book compared to the previous. Lots of negative emotions, constant travel, a bunch of new characters that came quickly and then disappeard again. Just as similar experience as a day long trip to the mall that leaves you exhausted.
The end came somewhat abruptly, almost as if the author lost her energy and just wanted to end the book quickly.
Fun read, mall adventure with all new characters mostly. I love the alien artifact, construct relationships, and planet hazards of other books in the series and it was light on all three. Expands the universe and the corp dynamics of the CR.
More murderbot, less harm, no notes.
