Max has been one of my favorite characters since I read the first book in the series! I'm happy that he and Nora finally got their HEA, as well. :)

I loved this second book in the series - maybe not quite as much as the first, but it's definitely close!
I already liked Lucy and Simon in the first book, and theirs is a story of redemption, of making things right - and it's fun to watch Lucy working on getting Simon to forgive her. I especially loved the scenes at the bird sanctuary (the "Owl Lady" is a hoot, no pun intended ;) ).
What a delightful, feel-good story!
I had a lot of fun getting to know Addy and Gray - their quirks and hangups felt real, and I liked how their friendship (and more) developed over the course of the story. There were laughs, and swoons, and just the right amount of drama to keep the story going.
After finishing, I immediately bought the other two books in the series. :)
