I wild mixture of Science Fiction and Fantasy, Gideon the Ninth introduces (seeming) Magic into SciFi and an intriguing Society with wondrous, gothic scenarios. It makes a good setting for the following books and I'm quite intrigued how the plot will go on.
I loved it, merging dark fantasy magic, with a sci-fi setting, and telling a horror story. It was a great page turner for me.
Just incredible. Pretty rare to find such and imaginative and rich world built into such a compelling narrative that is SO FUN. It's funny, heartbreaking, action-packed, mesmerizing, and thoughtful all at once. Can't wait to read the rest.
