It’s Maisy + Miller time! Yay!

Full disclosure: Miller’s been my favorite since book #1, and I was curious about the shero who would capture this (not so) bad boy’s heart. I loved Maisy just as much - but frankly, Bear totally stole plenty of scenes (and a piece of my heart)!

Can’t wait for Lynn’s story - bring it on! :)

Fun introduction to the Folding Space series!

Even as a new reader unfamiliar with this world, I found it easy to get immersed in the action, and I was rooting for Tyron and Katryn to make their escape.

This was my first A.M. Scott story, but I already have more lined up on my e-reader. :)

Finally!

While I’m sad that this is the final book in the series, it’s fitting that Hamish and Afton’s story is the one to conclude this “family saga.“

To be honest, now that the 300-year-old wedding pact is out of the way, Hamish is single, and Afton is back home (with a career plan, to boot) there is no real reason why these two can’t finally find their HEA. Or, I should rather say these three: because Hamish’s daughter Freya totally stole the show for me, and if anyone deserves a HEA, I think it’s her. :)

I hope this won’t be the last we’ve seen of the folks in Glenlaig, though!

Intriguing follow-up to Girl of Flesh and Metal. I really enjoyed spending more time with Lena and her group of friends trying to get to the bottom of the latest escalation in murderous robots running amok. Not all mysteries get solved, though, so it's a good thing I've got book 3 already on my e-reader. Bring it on!

Since I "met" the Vigilaunties in the prequel "Friends in Need," I had been looking forward to their first full-length adventure - and Baz, Peggy, Carole (OMG, Carole!), and Madge did not disappoint. The "cozy noir" format totally works for me, and I find the Vigilaunties' (thankfully less-than-standard) approach to looking our for their family and friends very entertaining.
Next, please? :)
