Proyecto Hail Mary

Stranded lonely astronaut fighting for staying alive this this time on a spaceship. Includes more different things that make it more varied than "The Martian" , lots of flashbacks and don't know how will they manage that in the movie they're making of the book. Like "The Martian" lots of science and humour. IMHO it's a good read, keeps you going forward to know how he solves each of the problems, if you're a bit geekie and you like science and space you will find it really entertaining.
I've heard, no pun intended, good things about the English audiobook version.

Andy Weir is the reincarnation of Jules Verne for the modern times, I have learned a lot of science from his books and it was fun.

Gave up. The amnesia/ suddenly remembering stuff as required really bugged me.

Definitely a worth while read. I'm glad he did not get back to Earth. It's better left to the reader what happened after saving Rocky.

I think this will be the book I recommend the most this year. It is entertaining from beginning to end. If you like sci-fi or space stories, read it. If you don't, read it anyway because you will laugh. It is very rare that I tear through a book in the span of a day, but, and I apologise for the cliché, I could not put this book down.
