Queen B leans hard into the theme of loneliness — so much so that it was often exhausting to read. That repetition can feel heavy, especially because the book also touches on the paradox of feeling alone inside a relationship — that unsettling sense of loving more than you’re loved, and the isolation that grows in that imbalance. But that’s also what makes the book’s emotional shift so meaningful. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that feeling alone isn’t the same as being alone. Support is there, even when we can’t see it yet. That small change in perception gave the book a hopeful undercurrent for me: a reminder that loneliness is sometimes more about how we interpret the world than about the world itself.
