Stephen’s god died on the longest day of the year…

Three years later, Stephen is a broken paladin, living only for the chance to be useful before he dies. Rezensionen

Fun read

I would never have picked this book up based on the cover, but the idea of a paladin whose God has died got me.

This ended up being a nice "cozy" (with mild threat) read. I enjoyed the recurring motif of relief&joy. Contrary to some other reviews I've seen, I actually enjoyed the slower first half of the book way more than the conclusion. I think I would have liked a tad more magic but I get that might be coming later in the series which I will be going on to.

The second guessing in the romance got a bit old after the first few times I had to read it.
