Rezensionen

hat The Three-Body Problem von Liu Cixin besprochen (Three-Body Trilogy, #1)

Quality writing that kind of drags

I found it hard to get into this one for some reason. Maybe it was the pacing? The characterization was excellent and there were a lot of great arcs. The climax came together spectacularly. But I spent most of the book bored. However, this was definitely a matter of preference, not quality.

Experienced the joy of a new scifi world

I've read all three books before writing this review; and I can say: the first is the strongest and most exciting of the series. Hard science concepts are mixed with interesting characters and novel problems that may be feel a sense of scale and wonder as I read.

Not just bizarrely nihilistic and cynical, but also pro-authoritarian propaganda

Inhaltswarnung This book is intensely political.
